Intas Takfa Pet Spray is a topical spray for pets, primarily dogs, manufactured by Intas Pharmaceuticals. It’s used for treating skin infections caused due to allergies or in the case of atopic dermatitis, skin rashes, and other skin problems.

Here’s a detailed composition of the spray:

• Tacrolimus: 0.02% w/v
• Alpha-tocopherol: 0.06% w/v

The spray has Tacrolimus as the active ingredient, which has an immunosuppressant action. It relieves the compulsive itch of allergic origin. The spray uses Nano-aqualip technology to reduce non-uniform Tacrolimus particles to uniform nano-sized particles. These nano-particles are encapsulated in biocompatible lipids, facilitating quick intradermal absorption within 35 seconds of spraying.

The spray is indicated for Canine atopic dermatitis (management and treatment), Perianal fistula, and Pododermatitis of allergic origin. It should be sprayed liberally twice daily. Use twice daily till symptoms disappear. Always consult your veterinarian for the dosage and duration of the treatment.
